Christina Foundas is an academic tutor who teaches for Montgomery County Public Schools. With an extensive background in social-emotional regulation, Christina previously worked with students ranging in grades K-5 in self-contained settings, in addition to supporting these students in mainstream settings. Christina believes in educating the whole child; she takes a proactive, skills based approach emphasizing emotional regulation through evidence driven frameworks (i.e.  Zones of Regulation.) She believes the most meaningful work and progress occurs once strong relationships have been built with students and families. 

 

Christina obtained her Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education from Towson University. A licensed and certified teacher in the state of Maryland, Christina currently works as a 1st grade teacher in Clarksburg, Maryland.
